I’m actually not sure – since I didn’t have any particular removal compound, I just experimented. Unfortunately, the place I was experimenting at had unmarked bottles, and one of those seemed to work.

i feel you pain. i just got my prius a week and a half ago, as well. last night when i was pulling into my apartment garage, i hear a scrape. the back panel on the driver’s side got a bit scuffed from the column next to me. argh!

of course, i am very pissed at myself, even tho the damage is minimal. googling “removing screatches from prius” brought up your blog

i’m going to look at it in the sun, today. if it really bugs me, i suppose i could take it in to toyota of seattle for them to detail
